Featured Bahay Tsinoy museum on Spot Light a few weeks ago and it made me realize how much I really do love museums! I learned so much thanks to my guide Ms. Meah See.

Here’s the script I wrote for the feature shoot:
With the Chinese New Year festivities, without a doubt we draw our attention to the rich traditions and culture of the Chinese. They’ve definitely established a growing community and they’ve influenced so much in our very own Filipino culture. Learn more about all that here in Intramuros where Bahay Tsinoy stands and take part in the Five Lanterns Exhibit in celebrating the Year of the Water Dragon.
This year also marks the museum’s 13th anniversary so witness and explore the ‘Museum of the Chinese in Filipino Life’ as you take a trip through galleries, old artifacts and learn the rich true story first hand. This is Janeena Chan reporting for RPN’s Spot Light.
Visit them!
Address: 32 Anda, corner Cabildo St. Intramuros, Manila, Philippines
They’re open Tuesdays to Sundays, 1-5pm
Rates: Adults- P100, kids and students- P60

I was fortunate enough to be part of World Vision Philippines’ great cause, the 12 Hour Famine last two weeks ago.
Got to feature the event under my lifestyle segment on Newswatch and I was also part of the program.
I sang two songs, For Good from Wicked and Katherine McPhee’s Terrified. :)
Congratulations to all who participated in the famine! Compassion is great but putting action to it makes all the difference.
